Teams
📢 - INFO
Teams give a group of pilots, coaches and judges a private space inside ACROWRX: pilots share flights with the team without making them public, coaches send assignments and track progress, judges score, and the team can run its own mock competitions. Open it from Teams in the top menu.
🚧 - BETA
Teams is in beta. Features and screens may still change.
Roles
Everyone on a team has one role. The role decides what you see and what you can do.
| Role | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Owner | Manages the team, its members and its settings. |
| Coach | Invites members, sends assignments, runs mock competitions and sees every team flight. |
| Judge | Scores every team flight and judges mock competitions. |
| Pilot | Shares flights, flies assignments and mock competitions. Sees flights shared with the whole team. |
| Viewer | Watches flights shared with the whole team and reads comments. |
| Owner | Coach | Judge | Pilot | Viewer | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| See flights shared with the whole team | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| See flights shared with coaches & judges | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | own only | – |

| Invite members, change the team avatar | ✓ | ✓ | – | – | – |

A team always keeps at least one owner. Anyone can be given an assignment, whatever their role.
Creating or joining a team
Create a team
Any user with a paid subscription can create a team. On the Teams page, open the team switcher at the top of the left column and choose Create a team (or use the Create a team button if you aren't on a team yet). Give it a name and an optional description. You become its owner.
Join a team
There are three ways in:
- An invitation — a coach or owner invited your ACROWRX account. The invitation waits in the Invitations list in the left column of your Teams page: choose Accept, or
to decline. If your account has an email address, you also get an email with a link.
- A join code — ask a coach for the team's code, then open the team switcher and choose
Join a team with a code. You join as a Pilot.
- An invite link — open the link a coach sent you and choose Join team.
📌 - TIP
Coaches can only find you in the pilot list once your ACROWRX profile is complete (name and country). New to ACROWRX? Sign up, complete your profile, or ask for the join code or an invite link.
Leaving a team
Use Leave team at the bottom of the left column. When you leave (or an owner removes you):
- your flights leave the team, so nobody on the team can open them through it any more;
- you are removed from the team's mock competitions, along with the flights you flew there;
- your assignments on that team are removed.
Your flights stay in your own library. The last owner of a team can't leave; make someone else an owner first, or delete the team.
The Teams page
The page follows the same layout as the Personal Page: a left column with your team and its commands, and the main column with tabs.
Left column
From top to bottom:
Team switcher — shows the team on screen and your role. Click it to switch to another of your teams (each listed with your role, member count and flight count), join a team with a code, or create one.
- Team card — the team avatar, name and description. Owners and coaches can click the avatar to upload, crop or remove the team picture.
- At a glance — a short summary that depends on your role. Click a row to jump to the matching tab. Rows that need your attention are highlighted.
- Invitations — invitations to other teams, when you have any.
- Team tools (owners and coaches) —
Assign a flight,
Invite members,
New mock competition and, for owners,
Team settings.
Leave team.
At a glance
| You are | You see |
|---|---|
| Pilot | Assignments to fly (with the next due date or how many are overdue), mock competitions waiting for you to join, and how many of your flights are on the team. |
| Judge | Team flights with a sequence that you haven't scored yet, and mock competitions you're judging. |
| Coach / Owner | Assignments flown (for example 3/5, with how many were handed in this week), flights to score, new team flights in the last 7 days, pending invitations, and running mock competitions. |
| Viewer | How many flights are shared with the whole team. |
Anyone who has an assignment to fly also sees Assignments to fly.
Tabs
| Tab | Icon | What's there |
|---|---|---|
| Flights | Flights shared with the team that your role can see. Filter by pilot with the selector at the top right. Click a flight to open it in Analysis; use Score to judge it. | |
| Assignments | Sequences coaches asked pilots to fly. See Team Assignments. | |
| Members | The roster and each member's role. Owners change roles and remove members ( | |
| Progress | Practice scores per pilot: flights, scored flights, latest, average and best score. Click a pilot to list their flights; click a flight to open it in Analysis in a new tab. | |
| Mock comps | The team's mock competitions. See Team Mock Competitions. |
📌 - TIP
Progress uses the practice scores given to team flights in Analysis. Mock competition results are on the Contest page.
Inviting members
Owners and coaches use Invite members. The dialog has two tabs:
ACROWRX pilots — search the ACROWRX pilot list, pick the role from the dropdown, and choose Invite next to each pilot. Invited pilots show Invited as … with a Withdraw button. Inviting a pilot again replaces their earlier invitation.
Link & code — for people who aren't on ACROWRX yet:
- Copy new link creates an invite link for the role you pick. Anyone with the link can join until it expires (14 days) or you withdraw it.
- The join code lets anyone join as a Pilot. Use
to make a new code; the old one stops working.
Only owners can invite someone as an owner.
Sharing flights with your team
A flight shared with a team stays yours. Team flights never appear in the ACROWRX public flight list unless you separately made that flight Public.
For each team flight you choose who on the team sees it:
Whole team — every member of the team.
Coaches & judges — only the team's owners, coaches and judges (and you).
When you upload a flight
In the Analysis upload window, choose Team in the Upload to slider. Pick the team or teams by their avatar, choose Whole team or Coaches & judges, and upload. See Flight Upload for the full window.
The Team option only appears if you are on a team with a role that can share flights.
Flights already in your library
In your Personal Page → Flights, open a flight's actions menu and choose Share with team. Pick the teams and who sees it, then Save. This doesn't change whether the flight is on the public list. To take a flight off a team, untick the team and save.
⚠️ - NOTE
Formation flights can't be shared with a team.
Comments and scores
Team members comment on and score team flights exactly like any other flight, from the scoring and comment panel in Analysis.
Team settings
Owners use Team settings to rename the team, edit its description, or delete it. Deleting a team removes its roster, invitations and flight sharing. Pilots keep their flights, and the team's mock competitions stay with their organizer as private contests.
Small screens
On phones and narrow windows, the Teams page shows an icon bar at the top: Team (the whole left column), then the Flights, Assignments, Members, Progress and Mock comps tabs. Tables show fewer columns so the important information fits.
